The duo composed of Englishman, Graham Russell and Australian, Russell Hitchcock who are the voices behind chart-topping hits ‘All Out of Love’, ‘Goodbye’ and ‘The One That You Love’ are set to mesmerize an audience comprising music lovers from various communities, according to Nhoy Ala, President of Pag-Iribang Bicolnon (PIBQ) — a Filipino group organizing the concert. “We have received a lot of calls since the first concert teaser was published several days ago, many of them thanking us for bringing Air Supply to Doha for the first time,” Ala told The Peninsula, media partner of the event. “The main reason why we decided to have Air Supply among other foreign artistes is that they have a very strong fan base here,” he said, adding the duo’s followers belong to different nationalities reaffirming the artists’ worldwide appeal. Around 9,500 people are expected to attend the concert which will see the duo sing their signature hits that catapulted them to fame in the soft rock ballad genre.
